US State Department reveals objectives of Blinken-Pashinyan meeting

Matthew Miller, the US State Department spokesperson, revealed the objectives of the upcoming meeting of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, and US Secretary of State Antony Blinken scheduled for April 5 in Brussels.

“I’m not going to speak to it in detail other than to say that our objectives in every engagement with the governments of Armenia and Azerbaijan are to include – are to encourage them to work to bridge the differences that – between the two countries and reach a durable and lasting peace agreement,” Miller said in a press briefing on Tuesday.
