Renowned American military analyst Scott Ritter, in an interview with Alpha News, assessed global security prospects and the role of the United States and Europe in current conflicts.
When asked about the likelihood of a direct war between Russia and European countries, he said the probability is zero percent.

“Europe simply has no capacity to wage war against Russia. NATO today is a shell of its former self,” he said.

He also added that the British, French, and German armies lack the capabilities to wage war.

“The British military is an absolute joke. You could put the entire British army in a soccer stadium and have thirty thousand unsold seats,” the expert said.

Ritter addressed the nuclear factor as well.
“No rational actor would ever want a nuclear war. As the United States separates itself from Europe, Europe is left realizing that they are confronting a nuclear superpower and so they need to posture as if they have the capacity to stare Russia in the face,” he said.

The military expert also commented on the situation in the South Caucasus.

“The first thing everybody in Armenia should understand is that America is not your friend. We will use you to help us achieve our broader objectives just as we did with Georgians and Ukrainians. The United States will provoke Armenia, push Armenia to confront Russia, and then, when Russia responds, we will step back and watch you be destroyed,” he said.
