Vache Hovakimyan becomes sole winner of international chess tournament in Serbia

Armenian Chess Academy student Vache Hovakimyan has delivered an outstanding performance at the RUDAR XL – IM Round Robin international chess tournament held in Serbia, the academy reported on Facebook.

Vache scored 7 out of 9 points without a single loss, emerging as the sole winner. The remarkable achievement earned him his first International Master (IM) norm and significantly boosted his FIDE rating, proving that diligence, consistency and strategic thinking are the keys to victory.
