Verkhny Lars has been closed for heavy trucks since March 6

The Verkhny Lars checkpoint, located on the Russian-Georgian border, has been closed for trucks since the evening of March 6. 

It is not yet known when the checkpoint will be opened. Heavy trucks will not be able to pass until further notice.
