We are asked provocative questions, but we do not give grounds for the bacillus of provocation to grow, Spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said at a press briefing on Thursday, referring to Nikol Pashinyan’s interview with the Wall Street Journal.

She noted that in the interview, an attempt was made to belittle the importance of relations with Russia, the role of the Russian military, the effectiveness of the CSTO, as well as the role of peacekeepers.

“We see how the Western media intend to cause maximum damage to the comprehensive relations between Moscow and Yerevan.”

Zakharova also stressed that Russia is ready to host a meeting with the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia if the latter agrees.
