We are grateful to Armenia for facilitating departure of Russian citizens from Iran – Zakharova

Maria Zakharova, the official spokesperson for the Russian Foreign Ministry, noted that Moscow is grateful to the authorities of Armenia, Turkmenistan, and Azerbaijan for facilitating the unhindered exit of Russian citizens from Iran through the respective land borders.

“We advise Russians to refrain from traveling to the Islamic Republic. For those currently in Iran for any reason, we strongly urge them to leave the country as soon as possible,” she said.
