We must continue this pan-European movement, Mourad Papazian on rallies in support of Artsakh

The pan-European rally drew attention to the defense of Atsakh, Artsakh Armenians, condemning the indifference of the European and international community in general, Mourad Papazian, member of the ARF Bureau, Co-Chair of the Coordinating Council of Armenian Organizations of France, said on Alpha News live.

“500 Armenian organizations of Europe have gathered to organize this pan-European rally. The goal was to draw the attention of the press to the Artsakh issue. I can say that at least 10,000 people gathered in Brussels in front of European institutions.

Protesters drew attention to the defense of Atsakh and Artsakh Armenians, and condemned the indifference of the European and international community in general,” he said.

“We were focused on drawing attention of the European press to the situation in Artsakh. This was the first initiative when we presented ourselves to the public under the name ‘Artsakh’. We must continue this pan-European movement. Today there have been 50 Armenian organizations, in the future we would like 500 non-Armenian organizations to participate in that movement, from Belgium, Germany, France, Italy, Greece, from every country,” Papazian said.
