We must strongly condemn Azerbaijan and make it clear that its actions are unacceptable, US Congressman says

Azerbaijan’s military operations were groundless, and the blockade that lasted for many months before that was absolutely unacceptable, said Democrat Seth Magaziner in an interview with the Armenian service of Voice of America.

On September 26, Magaziner led about 90 bipartisan lawmakers from the US House of Representatives and Senate in penning a letter to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, calling for sanctions against Azerbaijani officials who launched military attacks and the months-long blockade of Artsakh.

“We must strongly condemn Azerbaijan and make it clear that its actions are unacceptable,” Congressman Magaziner said.
