We welcome unblocking, but it should take place under Armenia’s sovereignty – Iran’s Ambassador

Iran’s Ambassador to Armenia, Mehdi Sobhani, when asked about the consequences of the delay in unblocking, noted that if unblocking takes place, traffic will also increase as a result. 

“There should be a mutual arrangement and agreement in this regard. If there is an agreement, it means we are getting closer to peace. This is for the benefit of the region, for the benefit of the peoples of the region. We support anything that will contribute to stable peace,” he said.
