According to the decision of the Armenian government, the Robert Sahakyants Animation Studio will no longer be able to continue its work in the same location. Alpha News talked to filmmaker and animator David Sahakyants about this topic.

“I am absolutely not interested in any comments. I was told that I need to contact the Prime Minister’s office, but I have absolutely no desire to write a sentence, ‘Dear Mr. so-and-so.’ I do not accept them, and in this case I approach all this much more philosophically. I believe that what does not kill me makes me stronger,” David Sahakyants said.

There are 15 employees working in the Robert Sahakyants Animation Studio. According to Sahakyants, they will try to implement some projects in different conditions.

“I hope there will be people who can help us with the place or other problems. We will continue our path further; we will try to create from scratch what we once had and what we are losing today. At the moment, we have 15 employees in the studio. There are also projects that we will continue to implement in other conditions,” David Sahakyants concluded.
