The West seeks to destibilize the situation in the South Caucasus and prevent normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev said at a meeting of security council secretaries on Afghan issues in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, RIA Novosti reports.
“We also see the Westerners’ desire to destabilize the situation in the South Caucasus as well as to prevent the normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, which has led to the escalation of the situation in this region,” Patrushev said.
