‘What do we need such a foreign minister for?’: Bagrat Srbazan

For quite a long time Turkish-Azerbaijani authorities, supporting their agents or representatives inside Armenia, have been humiliating the sovereignty of the Republic of Armenia and the people of the Republic of Armenia to an extreme degree, Archbishop Bagrat Srbazan told protesters outside the Foreign Ministry building.

“Ilham Aliyev’s statement that genocide took place in Khojaly and the Armenian authorities should apologize for it…We have high suspicions that they have already sent an apology in written form. The things they have said to their people to defend Turkey and Azerbaijan all this time! Instead of responding to Azerbaijan, the Armenian authorities tried to put pressure on their own people, who said ‘no’ to all this. 

There has never been a case in the history of any country when a foreign minister said something and an official from an enemy state humiliated that minister by referring to its leader. What do we need such a foreign minister for?” Srbazan added.
