A man who shows people heart gestures every day could not have entered a church by shoving those same people aside. This view was expressed live on Alpha News by public figure Yulona Hakobjanyan, commenting on the recent incident at the Church of Saint Anna involving Nikol Pashinyan, following which 18-year-old David Minasyan was arrested.

“He knew perfectly well that on the day of Tsakhkazard there would be a large crowd in the church. And instead of entering humbly, with his head bowed, he walked in alongside 10 to 20 bodyguards, pushing people aside. What was it if not a provocation,” Hakobjanyan said.

According to her, Pashinyan’s behavior is not only driving down his own ratings but amounts to self-destruction.

“He understands full well that he will no longer be able to raise his ratings even in the eyes of those who still trust him. This also suggests that the elections will most likely be falsified,” Hakobjanyan concluded.
