Speaking with Alpha News, political scientist Robert Margaryan commented on the authorities’ nervous behavior following the press conference of Armenia’s second president, Robert Kocharyan.
“When you don’t have a basic answer, you start getting nervous, insulting opponents in the National Assembly or writing posts like Alen Simonyan’s, blaming others, using swear words to protect yourself, and deflecting from the topic,” he said.
Margaryan pointed out that he published facts showing that, in 2019-2020, the My Step Foundation declared over $6 million in the US. “There is evidence that this money was transferred to Armenia,” he added.
Speaking about the possibility of impeaching the current authorities, the political scientist said, “Impeachment is an article enshrined in the Constitution. But there are so many gaps in the Constitution that make it practically impossible to impeach any administration. Therefore, at the practical stage, as Robert Kocharyan also noted, the chances of success are close to zero.”
