‘Which provisions of the government-approved strategy has the ENA violated?’ — Minasyan to Minister of Territorial Administration

The National Assembly is reviewing, in its second reading, draft amendments to the laws “On the Public Services Regulatory Commission” and “On Energy,” authored by the Civil Contract faction, which propose the nationalization of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA).

Artsvik Minasyan, Secretary of the Armenia faction, posed a direct question to Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan, demanding a clear explanation of which specific provisions of the government-approved strategy the ENA had allegedly violated.

In response, Khudatyan stated that there are several dozen proceedings related to the ENA, and in more than ten of those cases, the company’s violations have been substantiated and documented.

“The number of proceedings and violations may increase. This is an additional tool that may or may not be applied,” he said.
