White Coat Protest in support of Artsakh

Medical workers took to the streets of Yerevan in support of the people of Artsakh.

They demanded that the passport of an Artsakh citizen be the only document on the basis of which displaced persons could receive medical care on the territory of Armenia.

“When contacting medical institutions, internally displaced persons from Artsakh should not receive such answers as ‘You are not registered here’, ‘You are not in the system’ or ‘You do not have a state order’ to their questions,” the protesters said.
It should be noted that a number of doctors on their social media pages have already expressed their readiness to provide free medical care to displaced persons from Artsakh.
