World-renowned violinist Ara Malikian to perform in Armenia for the first time

The world-renowned violinist, Ara Malikian, will be performing concerts for the first time in Armenia on October 13 and 14, his official website reports.

Malikian is the winner of numerous prestigious prizes and awards, the nominee for Latin Grammys, and the former concertmaster of the Madrid Symphony Orchestra.

He is also the author of 25 records and soundtracks for eight films.

Malikian will come to Armenia with his team and a musical band which will prepare reports on the ancient history and rich cultural heritage of Armenia, as well as cover Malikian’s concerts in Armenia.

The proceeds from Malikian’s concerts will be donated to the people forcibly displaced from Artsakh.
