Yaakov Kedmi: Pashinyan did something that no one in Armenia could imagine, even in their worst nightmare

Speaking with Alpha News, political scientist Yaakov Kedmi commented on the interview of Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan with the Daily Telegraph.
According to the expert, Pashinyan’s has finally shown his true colors.
“In the entire interview, Pashinyan talked long and tediously about what was happening from his point of view, and he did not mention Russia at all until the journalist asked him specifically about it. This suggests that Pashinyan has finally shown his true colors. Pashinyan came to power with the goal of pulling Armenia closer to an alliance with Europe. France has become quite active lately.
This is happening because France was kicked out of Africa. So, now it is interfering in all places where it can. It is interfering with Ukraine and Kazakhstan; it is trying to interfere with Kyrgyzstan. It is interfering with Armenia, but the national interests of France have nothing to do with the Caucasus,” Kedmi noted.
According to the political scientist, it can be clearly said that Pashinyan makes the future of Armenia dependent on the decisions of the European Union and France.
“Was there ever a time in the history of the Armenian state that any European country helped Armenia, the Armenian people, or defended Armenia? I don’t remember this. Now Pashinyan says that Armenia will depend on what Europe decides and that it will ensure the security of Armenia. Does France have any influence on Azerbaijan? Does France have any influence on Turkey? No, absolutely not. Turkey couldn’t care less about France. It never took France into account and never will,” Kedmi said.
According to the expert, NATO needs Armenia only to undermine the Caucasus.
“Why does Armenia have the largest American embassy? Americans just intervened where they were allowed to intervene. They are sitting in Yerevan, and, as a result, the head of Armenia is a dishonest person who betrays the country and does not care about the blood that the Armenians shed for what they considered their national interest. Pashinyan did something that no one in Armenia could ever imagine, even in their worst nightmare,” Kedmi concluded.
