Yerevan and Baku reiterated commitment to removing nationals from wanted list in 2024 – Interior Ministry

In response to an inquiry by Armenpress, the Armenian Interior Ministry commented on media reports suggesting that Armenia had removed Azerbaijani nationals from its international wanted list.

“According to the agreement reached between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan back in 2007, the parties agreed to reciprocally cease the interstate search declared against citizens of the two countries within the territory of CIS member states. Based on the abovementioned agreement and the fact that the parties have not violated the agreement since 2007, the parties reiterated in 2024 their commitment to cease and not declare interstate searches within CIS member states on a reciprocal basis,” the Armenian Interior Ministry said.
