Yerevan hosts meeting of EAEU competition regulation authorities in 5+1 format

A meeting of the competition regulation authorities of the EAEU member states in the ‘5+1’ format was held in Yerevan on November 3.

The meeting was attended by the heads of competition and antitrust regulation of Russia, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan.

Member of the Eurasian Economic Commission on Competition and Antitrust Regulation, Minister Bakhit Sultanov, and Chair of the Competition Protection Commission of Armenia, Geham Gevorgyan, delivered opening remarks.

Shushan Sargsyan, the member of the Competition Protection Commission, presented a report on the topic “Formation of common approaches to topical issues in competition protection”.

Issues on the agenda of competition and antitrust regulation authorities were also discussed.
