According to a new report by digital entertainment platform JB, Armenia’s capital Yerevan has been ranked among the world’s top 10 cities for nightlife, reports Condé Nast Traveller.
“Armenia might not be the first country that springs to mind when it comes to nightlife, but Yerevan – which is known for its lively atmosphere, rooftop bars and tourist-favourite Wine Street – takes seventh position. It has a few more venues than neighbour Tbilisi – with 33 night spots and 48 after-dark activities per 100 square kilometres – and an average rating of 4.47. Drinks also come in at an affordable $3.40 each, with bars closing at 4am,” the study notes.
The ranking also includes Barcelona, Paris, Tokyo, Prague, Tbilisi, Seoul, Bangkok, Mali, and Budapest.
