Young chess player Tyhran Ambartsumian awarded FIDE Master Title

The International Chess Federation (FIDE) has awarded the FM title to 13-year-old Armenian chess player Tyhran Ambartsumian, the Armenian Chess Federation reports.

The federation’s statement notes that Tyhran currently holds a rating of 2351.

The FM title was also awarded to 17-year-old Menua Hakobyan, whose rating stands at 2387.
