Your guarantor is your own people – Lori residents on peace

During a survey conducted in the Lori region, residents shared their views on the Trump Route.

According to the citizens, the United States has its own interests in the region and its main goal is to push Russia out of it.

Another respondent noted that the Trump Route is not an agreement but merely a project, which carries no weight under international law.

“Who should be the guarantor of peace? No one but your own people,” said one of the respondents.

According to Lori residents, establishing peace first and foremost requires a strong army. “Who will come and defend our homeland? We must have our own army,” said another resident.
