Youth in Montevideo host event condemning Artsakh genocide

Within the framework of the 25th Navasartian Games, the Homenetmen and the ANCA Committee of Uruguay organized a public event in Montevideo to raise awareness about the genocide and ethnic cleansing committed by Azerbaijan in Artsakh.

More than 200 participants of the Navasartian Games from the Homenetmen branches in Montevideo, Buenos Aires, and Cordoba, the Khrimian Gymnasium, and the Armenian national team of Chile brought with them a huge flag of Artsakh and made thematic speeches: “They could not do this in 1915; they cannot in 2023. Solidarity and struggle in the face of a new Armenian Genocide in Artsakh.”

The organizers showed a video in which they presented the genocidal blockade imposed by Azerbaijan against Artsakh, the bombing of civilians, and the displacement of the Artsakh indigenous population to Armenia.
