Zvartnots Airport sets passenger traffic record in 2025

Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport handled 5,615,789 passengers in 2025, marking the highest figure in the airport’s history, reported Armenia’s Civil Aviation Committee.

As in previous years, February was the quietest month of the year, while August was the busiest. In August 2025, the airport processed 667,844 passengers, the highest monthly figure ever recorded.

In 2025, 2,805,078 passengers departed from Zvartnots, while 2,810,711 passengers arrived.

Cargo traffic also showed growth. Over the year, the airport handled 42,679 tons of cargo and mail, surpassing previous years. For comparison: in 2024 the figure was 42,235 tons, and in 2023 it was 33,850 tons.

The total number of flights in 2025 reached 41,999, including 21,000 departures and 20,999 arrivals.
