Dreams about ‘mythical’ Greater Armenia hinder peace process, Aliyev says

Dreams about “mythical” Greater Armenia hinder the establishment of durable peace, Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev said on Thursday, addressing the participants of the second international forum of the so-called “Western Azerbaijan” community.

He added that the “territorial claims against Azerbaijan enshrined in the Armenian constitution” and the rapid armament hinder the peace process as well.

Azerbaijan refers to the sovereign territory of Armenia as “Western Azerbaijan”.
