Yerevan and Baku not really listening to US and EU recommendations on peaceful settlement, says Russian spy chief

The US is losing the initiative on all fronts and has completely failed in the post-Soviet countries, Sergei Naryshkin, the head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service, said in an interview with the Russian magazine Razvedchik.

“The American ‘obsession’ with Ukraine is beginning to have a devastating effect on the entire global financial and military-political system built by Washington. The US is losing the initiative on all fronts: from the Middle East to Asia and Africa. And in the post-Soviet area, it has completely failed,” Naryshkin said.

According to him, Armenia and Azerbaijan are also not really listening to the US and EU recommendations on peaceful settlement, preferring to solve all issues on their own.
