MEPs to debate unlawful detention of Armenian POWs in Baku

Members of the European Parliament will hold a debate about Azerbaijan’s unlawful detention of Armenian POWs during an upcoming plenary session.

The debate, titled “Unlawful detention and sham trials of Armenian hostages, including high-ranking political representatives from Nagorno-Karabakh, by Azerbaijan”, will take place on March 12 as part of debates on human rights and democracy violations.

A vote is scheduled for March 13 under urgent debate/resolution procedures.
