Italian magazine names Armenia ‘top destination for adventure’

The Italian online magazine Gaeta released an article about Armenia, noting that Armenia won the PATWA International Travel Award for Adventure Tourism.

“Its breathtaking mountains, scenic hiking trails and opportunities for outdoor sports such as rock climbing and paragliding make Armenia a popular choice for those seeking thrilling nature experiences,” the article’s authors wrote.

The journalists highlighted Armenia’s natural wonders, such as Lake Sevan and the forests of Dilijan. For history enthusiasts, they recommended visiting Geghard Monastery and Etchmiadzin Cathedral, while food lovers were encouraged to explore local restaurants and markets.
