No article on opening of so-called transport corridor in draft agreement – Armenian FM

There is no article on opening of the so-called corridor through Armenia in the draft agreement between Yerevan and Baku, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said during the briefing.

All railways, roads, infrastructure of Armenia will remain under the sovereignty and legislation of the Republic of Armenia, he added. According to Mirzoyan, the draft agreement does not contain a clause addressing the mutual return of Armenians and Azerbaijanis to the places they inhabited before the collapse of the USSR.

The Armenian Foreign Minister also emphasized that after the signing of the peace agreement with Azerbaijan, the activities of the OSCE Minsk Group would no longer be necessary.
