Vahan Avetisyan from California wins first place in K12 U1000 Chess Championship

Vahan Avetisyan, 13, from California, participated in the 2025 LA Spring Youth Chess Championship and secured first place in the K12 U1000 category. This marks his second championship title, achieved while competing against older players. In addition, Vahan has demonstrated brilliant skills in various tournaments and won numerous trophies.

Vahan Avetisyan is a student of the Dasa2 online platform, which connects everyone with qualified teachers from Armenia. Vahan’s chess coach is Ani Martirosyan.
