Ovanes Abgarian wins Sambo World Cup in Yerevan

The Sambo World Cup was held in Yerevan, with Voronezh sambo wrestler Ovanes Abgarian claiming the gold medal in the 79 kg category.
Abgarian confidently advanced to the tournament final, and in the final fight he defeated Ukraine’s Vasyl Ivoniak.
The event featured more than 250 top martial artists from 18 countries competing for 28 sets of awards.
