Baku expects amendments to Armenian Constitution – Elchin Amirbayov

Elchin Amirbayov, the Azerbaijani President’s Representative for Special Assignments, in an interview with NE Global reiterated the need for amendments to the Armenian Constitution.

“The provision contained in the document regarding the initialing of the peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia acknowledges the need for further steps to sign and ratify the agreement. In other words, for this to become possible, Baku expects amendments to the Armenian Constitution to remove the territorial claims against Azerbaijan that are still present there,” he said.
