ENA employees ordered not to attend Samvel Karapetyan’s court hearing

Ahead of today’s hearing concerning philanthropist and head of the Tashir Group, Samvel Karapetyan, tensions have escalated within the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA).

ENA employees said they had received a clear order from management instructing them not to appear at the courthouse—whether to show support for Karapetyan or to observe the proceedings.

This directive was issued despite the fact that the workday ends at 5:30 PM and the hearing is scheduled for later. Current company leadership has threatened dismissal and other serious consequences for anyone who disobeys the order.
