Armenian architect Sargis Sargsyan helps win international competition for New Hamburg State Opera

Armenian architect Sargis Sargsyan, a member of the Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG), has played a key role in securing a major international victory by co-leading the winning design for the new Hamburg State Opera in Germany. The jury highly praised the project for its modern vision, bold design language, and innovative architectural approach.

In addition, Sargsyan co-authored the concept for the Mountain Village residential complex in Dilijan, developed in partnership with the Proforma architectural bureau.
