Karen Khachanov wins silver at ATP 250 doubles tournament in Hong Kong

Russian tennis players Karen Khachanov and Andrey Rublev claimed silver medals in the ATP 250 doubles tournament in Hong Kong, Sportaran reports.
In the final, the Russian duo lost to Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti and Luciano Darderi (Sanogo) in a championship tie-break. The match ended 4–6, 6–2, 1–10. Khachanov and Rublev’s path to the final was intense, as all three of their victories earlier in the tournament were secured through championship tie-breaks.
In singles, Andrey Rublev reached the semifinals, where he was defeated by Lorenzo Musetti. Armenian tennis player Karen Khachanov, meanwhile, exited in the round of 16 after losing to American Michael Mmoh.
The singles title went to Kazakhstan’s Alexander Bublik.
