Coach Rafael Arutyunyan receives urgent accreditation for Milan Olympics

American coach of Armenian descent Rafael Arutyunyan received urgent accreditation to participate in the team competition at the 2026 Olympics.

Arutyunyan works with figure skater Ilia Malinin. It was previously reported that, for unknown reasons, the US delegation had not included Arutyunyan’s name in the team’s application.

The accreditation allows the coach full access to training sessions and competitions.
