Samvel Karapetyan must be able to participate fully in political processes: Aram Vardevanyan

Attorney Aram Vardevanyan told journalists at a briefing that a court hearing in the case concerning the alleged unlawful and criminal political persecution of philanthropist, businessman, and Strong Armenia party leader Samvel Karapetyan will be held on April 15 at 10:30.

“We attach great importance to statements from our compatriots and colleagues expressing their support, and we invite them to gather at the area adjacent to Tbilisi Highway, 3/9,” the attorney noted.

According to Vardevanyan, every hour matters in view of the upcoming parliamentary elections in Armenia.

“On April 21, 2026, the Strong Armenia party has convened a congress, and it is vitally important that prior to this congress Samvel Karapetyan have the opportunity to participate fully in political processes. The participation of the party chairman is of key importance,” the attorney stressed.
