Macron visits the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex

During his state visit to Armenia, Emmanuel Macron, President of France, paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex.

He laid a wreath at the monument commemorating the victims of the Armenian Genocide and then, together with other members of the delegation, placed flowers at the eternal flame. Macron also made an entry in the guest book of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute.

The president of France was accompanied by the president of Armenia, the minister of education, science, culture and sport, and the mayor of Yerevan.
