“I’m skeptical of Civil Contract’s statements”: a poll in Yerevan

Tigran Avinyan, Yerevan Mayor, stated that a metro station in Achapnyak will definitely be built, calling it their political decision. Speaking with Alpha News, one Yerevan resident noted that this is yet another show ahead of the parliamentary elections.

“I’m sorry to see this city experiencing a transportation collapse, and not only because of the number of cars, but also because of the absence of competent and safe traffic management. Nobody seems to care about this at all, and the statements about building a metro station are just another empty promise,” the Alpha News interlocutor noted.

Another poll participant stressed that people have grown skeptical of statements made by Civil Contract party members and trust neither Avinyan nor Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.
