The small group in power lacks the proper level of political debate: David Kazinyan

It is very unfortunate that today the Republic of Armenia is led by a small group that does not have the proper level of political debate. This was said by David Kazinyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party council, at a briefing.

In his view, the country’s authorities are currently dealing with two problems: first, trying to explain their own state of anxiety, and second, sowing an atmosphere of fear. Kazinyan added that every vote cast for Strong Armenia will be protected.

Commenting on reports that the Armenian government offered the shareholders, the family of Samvel Karapetyan, $380,000 to acquire Electric Networks of Armenia CJSC, Kazinyan noted that in his view it is not entirely appropriate to speak of sale negotiations regarding ENA at this point.

“Narek Karapetyan is absolutely right not to raise this topic. As I have noted on multiple occasions, Samvel Karapetyan has absolutely no problems protecting his property. Seeing where the country is heading and what state it is in, I believe it is inappropriate to speak of sale negotiations regarding ENA,” he added.
