Eight years ago, with the unanimous support of the people, Nikol Pashinyan became prime minister, and everyone hoped he would bring prosperity and peace to Armenia and Artsakh. Over these eight years he promised that people would begin to live well and safely. Eight years have passed, almost nothing has changed, only Armenia has become a much smaller country, said Narek Karapetyan, a member of the Strong Armenia party council, at a briefing with journalists.
According to him, after the “revolution” only one group came out ahead: the Civil Contract party. And everything people have achieved was the result of their own work; the state played no part in it.
“Every fifth Armenian lives in poverty. These are official figures. That means around 600,000 residents of Armenia are poor and barely making ends meet,” Karapetyan emphasized.
