Armenia ranks among the top three sources of tourists visiting Georgia

According to Georgia’s National Statistics Service Geostat, Georgia was visited by 994,800 tourists in January–March 2026, up 2.5% compared to the same period in 2025.
The highest number of visits was made by citizens of Turkey, 238,400, followed by Russia in second place with 230,700, and Armenia in third with 160,500.
The data shows that inbound tourism to Georgia is distinctly regional in character, with three neighboring states accounting for around 63% of total visitor flow.
