Words about surrendering Artsakh and 5,000 deaths drive Pashinyan to anger

If you had said this 15 years ago, you would have been killed, beaten in a bathroom. This is what Pashinyan said during the election campaign to a citizen who told him that he was the one who surrendered Artsakh and was responsible for the deaths of 5,000 young men.

“Where did this figure of 5,000 deaths come from? We have not published a number. You are using the language of these scoundrels. Isn’t the number of those killed enough for you, that you also say 5,000? As a result of these sacrifices, we gained a state and independence. The fact that you came, stood before the prime minister, and said this means that we have a state, independence, and democracy,” he noted.
