Armenia must become a country in which no representative of a national minority feels like an outsider. This is our shared homeland, and that must be reflected in clear state policy. That is what Robert Kocharyan, second President of Armenia and candidate for Prime Minister from the Armenia bloc, said to representatives of the Yazidi community during the election campaign in Aparan.

“During my years as president, there was no discrimination between Yazidis and Armenians. We always regarded you as devoted citizens of Armenia. Above all else, we will never forget your participation in the wars,” President Kocharyan noted.

According to him, the state will do everything in its power to ensure that members of the community consider Armenia their homeland.
