Yury Ushakov, an aide to the Russian president, stated that Armenia’s decision on a possible European Union accession is causing concern among Eurasian Economic Union member states.

“You are aware of the steps Armenia’s leadership has been taking in the context of European integration and expanding cooperation with the EU. This naturally cannot but worry the EAEU partners,” Ushakov noted.

According to him, all related matters will be discussed by the leaders of EAEU member states at a meeting scheduled for May 29.
