“The authorities are trying to disorganize and obstruct the work of our headquarters”: Ishkhan Saghatelyan

Before the elections began and throughout the entire day up to this moment, the current regime has launched large-scale repressions against opposition political forces — in particular, against those responsible for and supporters of the “Armenia” bloc’s headquarters. This was stated at a press conference by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, member of the bloc.

“They are being taken in for questioning without any reason and held for several hours. Some are released, while others are being charged. The purpose of all this is to disrupt the work of our headquarters and obstruct its activities,” Saghatelyan noted.

According to him, a number of cases have been recorded in which citizens were subjected to attempts at direction and intimidation, thereby violating their right to freedom of expression.
