Such a level of voter participation indicates that “Civil Contract’s” chances of retaining power are approaching zero. This was stated by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, member of parliament from the “Armenia” bloc, in response to a question from Alpha News.
“We are recording everything, and will ultimately prepare a conclusion on the extent to which such large-scale violations of the electoral process affected the actual election results. But, to the credit of the citizens of Armenia and given this level of participation, I believe their chances of retaining power have decreased significantly,” Saghatelyan noted.
