A unified opposition decision is crucial: Ishkhan Saghatelyan on refusing to accept mandates

Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of the Armenia bloc, said at a press conference that the political force has filed a complaint demanding a recount of vote results at a number of polling stations.
“We have submitted an appeal for a recount of votes at a number of polling stations. It is clear that there is a discrepancy between the protocols recorded at the polling stations and the data published on the CEC website. The CEC considers such cases to be technical errors,” Saghatelyan said.
According to him, after the appeals process, the bloc will appeal to the Constitutional Court to contest the election results.
“As for the question of whether to accept the mandates or not, we believe this must be a unified decision of the opposition. We will be able to make this decision after receiving answers to a number of questions. The question of whether PAP clears the threshold is also very important here. One thing is clear, our decision will follow from the logic of continuing and succeeding in the fight,” Saghatelyan emphasized.
