Ruling force lacks mandates for constitutional referendum demanded by Aliyev: Narek Karapetyan

The ruling party lacks the mandates needed to hold a constitutional referendum demanded by (Azerbaijani President Ilham – ed.) Aliyev. Narek Karapetyan, council member of the Strong Armenia party, said this in a video address.

“Today we received the final response from constitutional law experts, according to which, even after so much lawlessness and electoral fraud, the theft of more than 50,000 votes, the PAP does not have a sufficient number of mandates to hold a constitutional referendum at Aliyev’s demand,” Karapetyan said.
